ENTREPRENEUR & LUXURY
After co-founding PIXmania, a €1 billion pan-European online retailer, Ulric Jerome joined MATCHESFASHION.COM.
At that time, the company counted only a few shops in London and became, under Ulric’s helm, the leading online luxury fashion retailer.
Join us for an amazing opportunity to meet him in MATCHESFASHION.COM’s offices at The Shard. Ulric will share with us his inside view of the evolution of e-commerce in this very specific market.
Adolescence is a time of trying new things, including alcohol. But countless studies have shown that parents have significant influence over the attitude and relationship their child develops with alcohol.
Dr Aric Sigman has worked with the European Parliament, the NHS, The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. He wrote, among other books, ‘Alcohol Nation: How to protect our children from today’s drinking culture’.
He will expose the risks of alcohol for teenagers and tell us about the strategies to help our children avoid the risks of alcohol use.
See London through the eyes of Monet, Tissot or Pissarro , with more than 100 paintings from artists who fled France during the Franco-Prussian war of 1870.
The highlight of the exhibition is the largest collection of Monet’s Houses of Parliament series seen in Europe since the 1970s.
In a private room, an art historian will explain the impact of the Franco-Prussian War and its bloody aftermath upon art, art market and individual artists in exile. You will then visit the exhibition on your own.
