LET US NOT FORGET SYRIA
We all have some parts of Syria inside ourselves, so abandoning this country and its people to such tragedy means losing touch with our own values and memory.
Jean-Pierre Filiu will revisit in Syria a past so intimately linked to ours, with some familiar figures such as Saint Paul or Saladin. He will hold in front of us the “Mirror of Damascus” (his recently published book), in order for us to better understand in this reflecting image what our world has become.
STEP INTO ANOTHER WORLD
Step into Mimmi O’Connell’s world, where Tuscany meets Asia in Belgravia. She has made the search for vintage finds for you, so look no further.
During this convivial brunch, you will have the opportunity to browse this oriental vase, or this tuscan basket still smelling of lavender, or this farm table, all of this while one of her good friend and expert in the real estate system in England, Chris Ames, will tell us about the history bout real estate and all there is to know.
A wonderful moment to spend together.

CAN WE RECONCILE EFFECTIVENESS AND MORALITY IN POLITICS?
There are significant overlaps between ethics and political philosophy. But the question of the objectives of politics and means to reach them can be considered.
Politics has ethics as an objective but it also requires success: how to get power and how to keep it.
Luc Ferry, is a notable proponent of secular humanism. Philosopher, writer and ex-French Education Minister, he will try to answer this question with us.
