ISLAMISM: FROM RESIGNATION TO SUBMISSION

ANDRE BERCOFF

After any terrorist attack, those familiar with the threat always asked the question, “Will this wake people up?”. We think that Europe has in its DNA the capacity to integrate in new syntheses the most varied and discrete cultures, but is it still true?

André Bercoff is a Franco-Lebanese journalist and writer, who has published more than thirty essays on the strong trends of today’s society, which prepare the mutations of tomorrow.

CAN WE RECONCILE EFFECTIVENESS AND MORALITY IN POLITICS?

LUC FERRY

There are significant overlaps between ethics and political philosophy. But the question of the objectives of politics and means to reach them can be considered.

Politics has ethics as an objective but it also requires success: how to get power and how to keep it.

Luc Ferry, is a notable proponent of secular humanism. Philosopher, writer and ex-French Education Minister, he will try to answer this question with us.
