Fanny Moizant is the French born, London based co-founder of premium luxury re-sale site Vestiaire Collective. Fanny teamed with five partners with experience in engineering, styling, logistics and business development to launch Vestiaire Collective in France in 2009. At launch, they offered 3,000 items of second-hand merchandise collected from family and friends. Their first sale? One of Moizant’s own Gucci handbags, long coveted by a close friend.

After three years serving as the VP of Marketing, Moizant moved up to manage the entirety of the site’s French business. In 2013, she moved to London with her family to lead the company’s European expansion, as well as manage global communication for the brand. Moizant remains Vestiaire’s ideal consumer, seasonally editing her closet to make room for new purchases. She is both a minimalist and a pragmatist, naming Alexander Wang, Forte Forte, Philip Lim and The Row among some of her favourite designers, while not staying overly attached to any seasonal piece. To the women she encourages to buy and sell on her site, Moizant offers her own personal philosophy, “letting go makes me as happy as buying new. I maximize cost per wear like no one else.”



Vestiaire Collective was launched in 2009 with the aim of offering a community platform on which members are able to buy and sell, top of the range and pre-owned luxury clothes and accessories. The catalogue is comprised of the most inspiring items coming from the wardrobes of hundreds of thousands of users throughout the World. This selection meets the specific expectations of buyers from across the entire World. Each week, more that 20,000 new items selected by a team of stylists are put on-line and add to strengthening a permanent catalogue of 400,000 products. The site stands out on the basis of its unique quality control. 100% of the products are physically checked by a team of experts. Since 2009, it has gone from strength to strength, with now an international community of 6 million members, 47 countries, and 200 employees spread across the world
