THE WINE TASTING
Tasting : Cloudy Bay, the Icon of New Zealand Wine
Vibrant citrusy sensation, unique aromatic expression, unforgettable freshness… the style of Marlborough (New Zealand) is now a reference for the Sauvignon Blanc wines.
This amazing success is mainly due to a few pioneers. Among first five wine makers to venture into Marlborough, Cloudy Bay was born in 1985.
33 years later, Cloudy Bay is one of the most famous and acclaimed wine brand in the world, loved for its emblematic Sauvignon Blanc but also for its Pinot Noir. The pioneer spirit is essential in the values of Cloudy Bay, perfect symbol of the “new world wine”.
Engaging, casual, interactive and comparative tasting of four wines created from those two major grape varieties: Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir.
Invitation to explore and feel different expressions of those “cepages”, to understand the impact of the “terroir” and the “winemaking style”.
We will taste 4 wines :
- Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc
- Cloudy Bay Te Koko (Sauvignon Blanc)
- Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir
- Cloudy Bay Te Wahi (Pinot Noir)
The wine tasting will take place at the Moët Hennessy tasting room.
